MICRODENTAL LABORATORIES is Hiring a Dental CAD/CAM Designer Near Livermore, CA

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the position of CAD/CAM Designer to join our ART team in Livermore, California.

*Qualified candidates with 5 years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control of all lab restorations: zirconia, lithium disilicate, PMMA, wax, etc… (check for shade match, cracks, correct tooth numbers, etc..)
  • Read, interpret, and design dental restorations to client's specifications by using a dental CAD software program (3shape/Exocad)
  • Digital Model design (3Shape/Exocad)
  • All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more relevant experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge in 3Shape and/or Exocad designing software
  • Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations
  • Excellent computer skills, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for corrections
  • Ability to read handwritten English ability to read and understand laboratory slips/laboratory terminology
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
